Interstitial cystitis, also known as painful bladder syndrome, is a chronic condition that can be challenging to manage.

- Bladder Instillation: Medications are introduced directly into the bladder via catheterization.
- Hydrodistention: Increasing the bladder by stretching the total capacity with water.
- Surgery for severe cases may be required such as bladder augmentation
- Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS): A device worn on the body that modifies pain pathways.
